Whole Bunch Syrah '24

Bot River's warm Mediterranean-like climate paired with a long growing season of low yields and early ripening make for a wine of excellent concentration and bright freshness.

Hand-picked Syrah grapes from a handful of vineyards were lightly crushed and whole-bunch fermented over ten days to enhance the depth and texture the varietal is known for. Once pressed, the juice was aged for ten months with 75% in stainless steel to preserve vibrancy and 25% in old barrels to add complexity.

While certainly juicy and approachable, Whole Bunch Syrah is also serious and structured and not to be overlooked. Expect a moody and intense glass of sour fig, dark chocolate, black olives, and salted liquorice.
