What Could Go Wrong Sauvignon Blanc '23

What Could Go Wrong Sauvignon Blanc '23

Angelo threw caution to the wind and tempered chaos with this skin-contact sauv. Experimental, a little bit wild, layered, and yet somehow, still refined and focused.

Organic grapes from the same pick as Just Kidding are destemmed and pumped into open-top fermentors where they spontaneously ferment on the skins for 7 days. They're then pressed and aged in old oak barrels for a further 10 months before being bottled for this one-off "What Could Go Wrong?" experiment.

The skin-contact amplifies all the good things a Sauvvy B has to offer and presents a wine with an excited energy, huge texture, zingy tropical palate, and a lingering Woolies granadilla ice-lolly finish.
